Patient Food and Nutritional Services are responsible for taking the orders for patient meal service in Mott and University Hospital. The department has received Bronze level status. Bonus points were awarded for using a killawatt to measure a workstation that is not being used and is not shut down. The information showed that the workstation still uses about 70 kw per yr. The team also transitioned the majority of their reports to electronic copy. Saving them as a PDF on the shared drive versus printing them out on paper saves about 50 sheets of paper per day (about 7.3 reams of paper per year).
