The Alumkal laboratory focuses on identifying the mechanisms driving prostate cancer progression into a lethal form of the disease which is resistant to male hormone-lowing therapies. We believe molecular methods can be used to understand this epigenetic process. Our goal is to apply laboratory insights directly into clinical trials to improve patient outcomes.
