Originally certified in 2015, the Lawyers Club dining facility has recertified at the platinum level. The group transitioned to an online inventory system, saving approximately 1,700 pages per year. Other waste reduction includes emailing orders rather than printing, converting to bulk half-and-half from individual containers, and implementing pre- and post-consumer composting. The team uses natural light when possible and turns off lights between meals. Student staff members bring energy and ideas to the team and the management encourages and implements many of those ideas. Over 75% of staff are certified Planet Blue Ambassadors.
