Our research focuses on the discovery of new transition metal-catalyzed reactions, the development of useful synthetic methods, the application of these new reactions in complex molecule synthesis, and mechanistic studies designed to understand the new processes developed in our laboratories. Common equipment used on a daily basis include NMR, MS, GC/MS, GC/FID, HPLC, gloveboxes, rotary evaporators, kugelrohr, Biotage automated chromatography, and vacuum lines. Common techniques include reaction set-up, chromatography, distillations, extractions and spectroscopic analysis.
