Previously certified as gold in 2014, Patient Relations and Clinical Risk at Michigan Medicine has attained platinum level certification. The office started purchasing recycled content paper and set their printers to default to duplex printing. Light sensors have been added in addtion to the light switch stickers reminding staff to turn off the lights. Work from home is encouraged to reduce commute miles. Sustainability is integrated into new employee orientation and staff meetings. Over 80% of staff are certified Planet Blue Ambassadors.
