Originally certified bronze in 2015, Pierpont Commons Administration has achieved platinum level Sustainable Workplace. The department moved to Visix signage for rooms. This replaced a paper intensive system which had the users print the signs and change them repeatedly. The department uses items long past the recommended life cycle as to not throw away and create waste. Planet Blue Student Leaders have been asked to speak at the next student board meeting. The office has removed all space heaters from the workplace. Printing is kept to a minimum and recycle containers are clearly marked.
