South Quad Dining was originally certified in 2015 and has been recertified as platinum in 2019. The team uses bulk condiments on the coffee/tea counter. Laminated signs are reused daily rather than printing new ones twice a day. Vehicles use E85 fuel instead of more leaded gas. The dining facility purchases local and sustainable food and participates in the Sustainable Mondays program, displaying posters and other information encouraging customers to choose sustainable food.
